Sisterhood

Our sisterhood engages in a variety of activities, creating opportunities for social connection and making contributions to benefit the Temple and local charities.

 

Sisterhood events include business meeting, holiday and social luncheons, guest speakers, community service and creative workshops.  It is a time to plan, share and discuss matters that we will all enjoy. 

 

Sisterhood plans and organizes the annual Passover Seder, Breakfast and participates in community based events such as the New Bern Historical Society’s Ghostwalk in the fall and the Spring homes tour.  We have amazing docents with history to share with all the guests that visit. We have participated in holiday giving to families in need as well as Vets. Sisterhood also coordinates volunteers to host Shabbat Onegs.  Every member is encouraged to participate.
