Temple B’nai Sholem provides all the services required of the Jewish community in the greater New Bern area.
RELIGIOUS SERVICES
We hold services every Shabbat, on the holidays and on the High Holy Days. All are welcome. We also hold events to celebrate the Jewish holidays.
DEATH AND BEREAVEMENT
We provide all the services required in the case of a death, including assistance with arranging a Jewish funeral and burial. Our chevrah kadishah can perform the Jewish burial rituals and we can arrange for a Rabbi if desired at a funeral and burial. The Temple has a Hebrew cemetary and plots are available.
